ABOUT ME
My name is Isaac Taylor. I was born in Boise, Idaho in 1981, but have lived in places like California, South Dakota, Nebraska, Germany; with a few stays in random areas. I am a musician, a producer, an avid gamer (if I have time), and a proud father.
My specialty is composing music for different video platforms, with an emphasis on adaptive video game music. I have experience in multiple musical genres; including classical, jazz, folk/country - my greatest love is for acoustic piano and electronic music.
I have a Bachelor's in Music Business from Chadron State College in Chadron, NE.
I also have an Associate's in Music Production from The Los Angeles Film School, CA.
I am versed in the use of Apple Pro Logic X, Ableton Live 9 Suite w/ Max, and Pro Tools 12. Other software I have available includes Melodyne and GarageBand.
If you're curious about what set me on this path, take a moment and look up the opening theme for an old SquareSoft game called The Secret of Mana. The first time I heard that song I just knew that's what I wanted to do. "It's the stuff that dreams are made of!"
By now you may have wondered the significance of M.E.A.T. - it is purely an acronym.
My Energy and Time. It's what goes into every song I write; and usually in large amounts.
But enough about me! If you have a special project that needs music, or have any questions on all the services I offer; please feel welcome to contact me. Thank you for reading! I look forward to working with you.
